Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a key member of our veterinary care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assisting with medical procedures, and contributing to the overall success of our hospital.
Responsibilities- Provide exceptional patient care, including administering medications, taking vital signs, and assisting with medical procedures.
- Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, such as surgeries and exams.
- Conduct laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalyses.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment.
- Collaborate with other members of the veterinary care team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest veterinary techniques and technologies.
- Associate's degree or higher in veterinary technology or a related field.
- Current certification as a veterinary technician (CVT) or registered veterinary technician (RVT).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a veterinary technician in a hospital or clinical setting.
