Work Schedule: 7am-7pm (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on swing shift)
Position Summary:
Can One USA is in search of a committed and proficient Production Mechanic to enhance our workforce. The successful candidate will undertake a variety of maintenance and repair duties to guarantee the efficient functioning of our manufacturing machinery. This position demands mechanical skills, meticulousness, and the capability to thrive in a dynamic work setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute all tasks in compliance with Can One SOP, Safety Regulations, and Safety Training protocols.
- Initiate and halt production units as required.
- Conduct machine setup, disassembly, cleaning, maintenance, and lubrication of different equipment components.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace.
- Ensure optimal equipment performance through essential maintenance activities.
- Detect and rectify product imperfections.
- Utilize hand and power tools as necessary.
- Adhere to all assigned schedules and follow attendance guidelines.
- Work effectively in varying environmental conditions and noise levels.
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience is preferred.
- Ability to work in diverse temperature conditions.
- Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
- Basic mathematical skills are essential.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding the English language.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proven time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks when necessary.
- Comprehensive understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production processes and machinery.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to navigate the facility to identify building issues and plan necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Must possess the physical capability to perform repairs as needed.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
- Able to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and regularly lift between 10-40 lbs.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to remain at the workstation for the duration of the scheduled shift.
