Job Title: Network Security Engineer

UltraViolet Cyber is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to support a Zero Trust Architecture deployment for a large-scale network enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify risks across network infrastructure that could lead to sensitive data exposure, unauthorized access, or loss of availability, and prioritize remediation efforts to address gaps.
  • Influence security direction of network hardware, software, and infrastructure to protect critical systems.
  • Conceptualize and lead efforts towards building sustainable and scalable network layer security controls and tooling.
  • Mentor and evangelize security practices through cross-functional work with engineering teams to ensure a successful ZTA deployment.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of total experience in offensive/defensive security or systems engineering.
  • 1+ years of experience supporting a zero trust architecture deployment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Cybersecurity related certification.

Salary: $125,000 - $140,000 a year. UltraViolet Cyber maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations.
