We are seeking a skilled Program Development Coordinator to join our team. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $75,000 per year.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our external funding applications, grant writing, and program coordination. They will work closely with stakeholders, including grantors, donors, government officials, vendors, and community leaders, to ensure the success of our programs.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Grant Management and Grant Writing:
    • Support NCH's external funding applications with program design and grant-seeking as assigned.
    • Assist with consultation calls with NCH grantees or potential grantees.
    • Support the Director of Grants and Compliance in the overall grant consultation process, including developing projects and budgets, processing and completing applications, sending invoices, and inputting final reports.
  • Program Coordination:
    • Perform outreach activities and participate in promotion and communities across the state.
    • Coordinate and order program materials.
    • Liaise with local community organizations and academic institutions.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field required, relevant experience considered in lieu of degree.
    • Experience working in a nonprofit environment with a strong understanding of the humanities sector.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Social Media web platforms, and WordPress systems.
  • Working Conditions:
    • Ability to travel and work nights and weekends as required.
    • Ability to work in an office environment.
