Logistics and Packaging Coordinator

Job Location: Manhattan, NY (Onsite).
Job Schedule: Seasonal; 3-4 days per week; 20-25 hours per week.
Job Type: Temporary/ Contractor.
Pay Range: $23/hour

Full Description:

VitalCheck Wellness is on the lookout for a dedicated Logistics and Packaging Coordinator to enhance our operations in Manhattan, NY. This role involves overseeing daily shipments and supply requisitions for our clientele, working closely under the guidance of the Operations Manager. We seek an individual eager to explore various facets of supply chain and operational management while growing alongside our organization.

The perfect candidate will possess a passion for process improvement, innovative thinking, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate the coordination of deliveries and shipments to and from client locations.
  • Ensure that clients are adequately supplied for their operational needs.
  • Travel locally to client sites for effective site setup coordination.
  • Oversee and manage supply inventory, anticipating future requirements.
  • Address client supply chain challenges and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain precise documentation of operations.
  • Gather data and perform basic analysis and reporting.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Associate or Bachelor degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in operations, logistics, or similar roles.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in analysis and reporting.
  • Familiarity with supply chain operations (e.g., inventory management, warehouse logistics, order processing).
  • A strong problem-solving mindset and 'can-do' attitude.
  • Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Proficient in computer applications and MS Office Suite.
  • Good understanding of local transportation and navigation.
  • Capability to lift up to 50lbs and remain active for extended periods.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills along with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to meet deadlines with a keen attention to detail.
