About the Role

As a Radiologic Technologist at UNC Health, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. This position requires a strong understanding of radiologic imaging principles, as well as excellent communication and patient care skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using various modalities, including X-ray, CT, and MRI.
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients for optimal image quality.
  • Operate imaging equipment, including X-ray machines, CT scanners, and MRI machines.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient exams, including images and reports.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry eligible and become registered within one (1) year from date of hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
