Radiology Technologist CT Day shift Day Shift

We are looking for someone who would like to cross train into CT or MRI

Responsibility:
  • Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-ray, fluoroscopy, and portable imaging, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Position patients correctly to obtain clear and accurate images, adjusting equipment settings as needed.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and image quality.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic reports.
  • Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any adverse reactions or changes in condition.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay current with advancements in imaging technology and participate in continuing education to enhance professional knowledge and skills
Qualifications and Certifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited school for Radiologic Technology
  • ARDMS Certification Required
  • Current Minnesota Radiologic Technology license
  • BLS Required within 30 days of hire
  • CT certification
