About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Natural Grocers. As a Cashier, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Provide world-class customer service, ensuring that every customer leaves the store feeling valued and satisfied.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment.
  • Support our store teams in various departments, including stocking, receiving, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Participate in company initiatives and programs, such as our Nutrient to Know About program, to promote healthy eating and wellness.
  • Gain product knowledge and stay up-to-date on new products and promotions to effectively communicate with customers.
Requirements
  • Strong people skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Retail experience, preferably in a grocery store setting.
  • Cashiering skills and ability to handle money accurately.
  • Ability to pass food safety training courses and certifications.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage changing priorities.
  • Sense of urgency in completing tasks and ability to take direction and follow through.
