Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of tax filings for various entities, including pass-through and C-Corporation structures, covering federal and multi-state obligations.
  • Provide strategic consultation on income tax approaches tailored for the construction sector to mitigate or defer tax liabilities.
  • Support tax audits and resolve any inquiries from tax authorities.
  • Address routine tax inquiries, investigate tax matters, and identify opportunities for enhanced service offerings.
  • Foster and sustain client relationships by delivering exceptional service that surpasses client expectations.
  • Engage with financial institutions, investment advisors, legal professionals, and others to further develop the construction practice.
  • Assist in the supervision, training, and professional growth of team members.
About You:
  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting; a Master's in Taxation is preferred.
  • Hold a valid CPA license.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience with a concentration in construction within a mid-sized firm.
  • Demonstrate experience in obtaining IRS approval for changes in accounting tax methods.
  • Exhibit proficiency in tax accounting methods for both exempt and non-exempt construction contracts.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Active CPA designation
  • Demonstrated tax expertise in the construction industry
