Key Responsibilities of the Assistant Controller:

As an Assistant Controller, your duties will include:

  • Providing extensive support to the Controller in managing all aspects of financial operations.
  • Assisting in the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
  • Conducting financial analyses to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborating with various departments to implement effective financial procedures and controls.
  • Overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.
  • Contributing to the development of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Actively participating in month-end and year-end closing activities.

Qualifications for the Assistant Controller:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • 5-10 years of proven experience in accounting or financial management.
  • Strong proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of GAAP and relevant financial regulations.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and effectively.
