FINANCIAL OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE:

POSITION SUMMARY

The Financial Operations Associate will play a crucial role in managing the complete accounts payable process while also providing additional accounting support as necessary. This role is essential for ensuring that financial transactions are executed accurately and efficiently, thereby maintaining expense control through meticulous processing of payments and thorough verification and reconciliation of invoices in line with established guidelines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The Financial Operations Associate will examine all invoices to ensure proper documentation and authorization before proceeding with processing.
  • Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation, entering them into the accounting system accurately.
  • Secure necessary approvals for invoices lacking a purchase order and ensure timely entry into the system.
  • Respond promptly to vendor inquiries, maintaining positive relationships.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate files and documentation in accordance with company policies.
  • Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements from vendors.
  • The Financial Operations Associate will assist with various projects as required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience, with a preference for prior accounts payable exposure.
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is preferred.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities.

Annual Salary Range- $52,000 - $60,000. This is an onsite position.
