Position Overview:
As a vital member of our logistics team, you will engage in full-time driving responsibilities, ensuring timely delivery of goods while adhering to safety protocols.

The compensation structure aligns with state-specific regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute daily delivery routes with multiple stops, loading and unloading products as designated by the Transportation Department Manager.
  • Efficiently operate within a cross-dock model, picking up pre-loaded trucks and returning them after deliveries.
  • Assist with loading trucks and palletizing products as needed, following directions from supervisors.
  • Safely transport products in various weather conditions, managing physical tasks such as bending and twisting during loading and unloading.
  • Confirm delivery with customers, ensuring proper documentation and addressing any concerns professionally.
  • Adhere to company equipment protocols, follow driver safety guidelines, and conduct thorough pre-trip inspections.
  • Fulfill pre-trip and post-trip responsibilities in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and Sysco policies.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of one year of experience in route delivery or a relevant driving background.
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding English.
  • Ability to independently plan and organize work activities without direct supervision.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of product handling and inventory management techniques.
