Job Overview

Prolink is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service shop, you will be responsible for providing high-quality repair services on heavy equipment and engines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Expertise: Possess a strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electric/electronic systems, as well as proficiency in the use of test equipment.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on heavy equipment and engines, ensuring maximum value for work performed.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer needs in a positive, safe, and timely manner.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with service mentors and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5 or more years of hands-on experience working with heavy equipment and engines, with a focus on diagnostics and troubleshooting.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification a plus.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, strong analytical problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Certifications: Possess and maintain a current, valid state driver's license; CDL may be required for Field Technicians.
