Position Overview:
The HSEEP Exercise Consultant plays a pivotal role in supporting federal initiatives through comprehensive exercise design and execution. This role is essential for ensuring that exercises are conducted in alignment with the Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) standards.

LMI is a leading consultancy committed to enhancing government operations through innovative solutions in digital technology, analytics, logistics, and management advisory services. Our mission is to empower federal agencies to achieve their objectives efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with exercise project teams to facilitate the design, planning, execution, and post-exercise evaluation of both discussion-based and operations-based exercises, adhering to HSEEP methodology.
2. Lead the organization of exercise meetings and events, and conduct thorough research to develop observations and recommendations for after-action reports and improvement plans.
3. Analyze exercise data to identify trends, innovative practices, and lessons learned, ensuring that findings are communicated effectively across various agencies and organizations.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in exercise planning and execution, particularly utilizing HSEEP methodology.
- Proficient in Microsoft SharePoint, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Active Secret clearance is required; candidates must be U.S. citizens.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with laboratory processing of biological pathogen samples and knowledge of the Laboratory Response Network/Integrated Consortium of Laboratory Networks is advantageous.
