Medical Assistant Professional

CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant is a contract position available at CommuCon LLC. Salary: $35,000 - $45,000 per year. The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week with a 5x8 weekly schedule.
Job DescriptionAs a Nursing Assistant, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in various medical settings. This includes:
- Assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitoring and recording vital signs.
- Assisting with medical procedures such as suture removal, IV infusion, and ventilator management.
- Administering medications as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Assisting with patient transfers and mobility.
- Providing emotional support to patients and their families.
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients.
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong medical documentation skills to accurately record patient information.
- Knowledge of primary care principles and practices.
- Experience in home care or hospital settings.
- Proficiency in performing basic medical procedures such as suture removal, IV infusion, ventilator management, and inhalation therapy.
- Ability to perform venipuncture for blood draws and other diagnostic tests.
