Cenergistic Energy Specialist Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Energy Specialist to join our team at Cenergistic. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and driving our energy conservation program, working closely with our clients to identify and implement energy-saving opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and analyze energy consumption data to make recommendations for energy conservation measures.
  • Utilize the latest technology and software to manage and analyze utility bill data and energy consumption information.
  • Perform on-site audits to identify energy-saving opportunities.
  • Manage and maintain all utility consumption data to ensure accurate savings measurements.
  • Meet with clients regularly to report on the status of their energy program and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to promote the success of our energy management program.
  • Report quarterly to the Board or Governing body on the status and success of the energy program.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2-3 years of work experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment in implementation of policy.
  • Ability to promote client involvement and engagement to implement change.
  • Ability to conduct presentations in large and small groups.
  • Strong experience with technology and personal computer operations, including Microsoft Office products and smartphone applications.

Work Environment: This position requires occasional work in outside weather conditions, near moving mechanical parts, and in high, precarious places. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in the office and moderate to loud in the field.

Physical Demands: The physical demands of this job include standing, walking, using hands to finger, handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reaching with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift or move objects up to 10 pounds.
