TETRA Technologies Job Description

At TETRA Technologies, we are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and other mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and other mechanical equipment
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues
  • Conduct preventive maintenance procedures on all mechanical equipment
  • Operate equipment and engines as needed
  • Maintain proper air and hydraulic pressures
  • Assist with ensuring compliance with lockout-tagout procedures
  • Supervise or perform all transfers of fuel, oil, lubricants, and coolants
  • Maintain inventory and inventory records
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) plus two years of experience with similar equipment
  • 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing/production
  • PEC Basic Safety Certificate, 24-hour HAZWOPER Certificate, First Aid/CPR Certificate, Smith Systems Defensive Driving
