We are seeking a skilled Fleet Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our team at Performance Foodservice. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of diesel-powered vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units
  • Perform preventative maintenance on fleet diesel equipment, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
  • Inspect and repair brake systems, steering mechanisms, and other critical components
  • Ensure all equipment is properly licensed and registered
  • Document all work orders and repairs through our online Enterprise Asset Management system
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 5-7 years of experience in medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair
  • Proven experience in refrigeration and/or overhauls and rebuilds of heavy-duty diesel engines and transmissions
