Job Title: Proposal Manager

NIRA, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Proposal Manager to oversee the development of proposals from pre-proposal planning to final production and delivery. The successful candidate will provide guidance to proposal development teams, write proposals, and review requests for proposals (RFP) and other bid requests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the proposal development process, ensuring adherence to deadlines and attention to detail.
  • Analyze RFP requirements, create proposal schedules, outlines, and compliance matrices, and manage diverse teams.
  • Write proposal sections, serve as a writer, editor, and/or reviewer, and collaborate with capture, proposal, program management, and technical subject matter experts.
  • Plan, coordinate, and lead effective storyboarding, kickoff, and review meetings, and identify and adhere to proposal development schedules.
  • Use a proposal calendar for each assigned proposal effort, containing all color reviews and other proposal development milestones.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of three (3) years of progressive proposal management experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, high-volume proposal environment.
  • Three (3) years of experience in implementing and documenting the formal capture and proposal processes for an established or growing company.
  • Experience in supporting through the proposal development process and providing technical and management solutions.
  • Three (3) years of Proposal writing experience for a government contract.
  • Three (3) years of experience responding to solicitations from Federal Government clients.
  • Three (3) years of experience managing multiple concurrent response efforts/initiatives simultaneously.
