Job Summary

Bassett Healthcare Network is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist I to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and dispense medication orders according to established policies and procedures.
  • Verify the accuracy and appropriateness of prescriptions and orders.
  • Supervise and direct pharmacy support personnel in a respectful manner.
  • Contribute to the quality and effective operation of the Department.
  • Participate in departmental Q/A processes, including reporting and following up on medication incidents.
Requirements
  • 5 year degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, required.
  • Minimum one year experience as a registered pharmacist, preferred.
  • Licensed and currently registered in the state of New York to practice pharmacy, required.
