About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at Canon Solutions America, Inc. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring the efficient maintenance of Canon-supported products.

Your Impact
  • Report product failure trends and serviceability issues to your manager, ensuring accurate information and record keeping.
  • Meet customer demands by providing efficient, responsive, and accurate Field/Shop/on-site maintenance.
  • Maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property assigned.
  • Develop strong customer communication and satisfaction skills.
  • Maintain the performance of assigned machines.
  • Facilitate performance at a level that helps achieve the branch/district's overall metric targets.
About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring

Please note that this is a customer-facing role, and you will be required to comply with customer policies and protocols, which may include COVID-19 vaccination and other measures relating to COVID-19.

  • Hold a High School diploma or equivalent experience required.
  • Possess a basic understanding of internet environments and the ability to successfully complete the PDIF (Printing and Digital Imaging Foundations) new-hire class.
  • Ability to travel (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary).
  • Capable of functioning in a 24/7 environment, while performing shift work and on-call rotations.
  • Required to take all necessary steps to obtain security and/or other clearances required by customers to enter the customers premises.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50 percent of the time (walking, standing, stooping/kneeling).
