Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Oncology Pharmacist to join our team at MaineHealth. As a key member of our ambulatory oncology practice, you will play a critical role in providing compassionate care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medication therapy management and patient care services to patients with cancer and other complex conditions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct thorough medication reviews and provide recommendations for optimization of patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in oncology and ambulatory care through ongoing education and professional development.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
  • Eligible or currently licensed in the State of Maine.
  • PGY2 Oncology Residency training and/or oncology experience, such as Board Certification in Oncology Pharmacy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical skills necessary to identify and resolve problems related to drug therapy.
