Schedule: Part Time - Day Shift

The MaineHealth Cancer Care Network (MHCCN) is actively seeking skilled Hematologist Oncologists to enhance our oncology services. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a comprehensive statewide oncology care initiative.

Key Highlights:
  • Be part of an integrated oncology care network that spans southern, central, and coastal Maine as well as eastern New Hampshire.
  • Contribute to a program that provides extensive cancer care to over 6,800 patients annually.
  • Join a cancer care program accredited by ASCO QOPI, COC, NAPBC, and NAPRC.
  • Work within a fully integrated system that includes surgical oncology, radiation oncology, palliative care, and support services.
  • Engage in a robust research program through the NCI's Community Oncology Research Program (NCORP).
  • Participate in dedicated tumor board meetings for various cancer types each month.
  • Utilize advanced analytics and metrics as part of the ASCO CancerLinQ initiative.
  • Enjoy a flexible part-time schedule (0.75 FTE) with a balanced workload across two locations.
  • Experience a supportive environment with dedicated APRNs, infusion centers, and a team of oncology specialists.
  • Access tertiary care services for complex cases as needed.
  • Benefit from established referral networks within the community.
Qualifications:
  • Medical degree from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a Residency/Fellowship in an accredited program.
  • Board Certification or Eligibility in hematology or hematology and oncology.
  • New graduates and early-career professionals are encouraged to explore this opportunity.
