About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Avera. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of housekeeping and laundry duties to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Ensure that all cleaning carts are fully stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Organize work, set priorities, and be accountable for work assignments, demonstrating flexibility in response to customers, patients, and colleagues.
  • Follow established infection control procedures to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Know and practice facility procedures for crisis situations.
  • Maintain excellent customer relations at all times.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree.
  • One to three months of related experience preferred.
Work Schedule
  • Day Shift: includes every other weekend and holiday, occasional call time; 80 hours every 2 weeks.
Compensation

The hourly range for this position is $20.50 per hour, with actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
