Occupational Therapist Specialist

At Jet Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Job DescriptionThis is a full-time, part-time or PRN / Per Diem position that involves providing OT services including assessment, treatment planning, implementation, and evaluation for our patients currently enrolled in our home health program in the Boise, ID area.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively with patients, representatives, and caregivers to achieve desirable outcomes.
- We conduct ongoing clinical assessments, including OASIS assessments, to identify patient needs and determine levels of functioning.
- We evaluate patients' occupational performance in areas such as self-care, work, leisure, and rest.
- We assess sensory-motor neuromuscular, psycho-social, and cognitive-perceptual components of occupational behavior.
- We evaluate physical, social, and cultural components of patients' occupational environment.
- We facilitate direct therapeutic interventions to address ROM, strength, coordination, adaptive equipment needs, and environmental modifications.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy.
- Current State License as an Occupational Therapist, Current driver's license required.
- One year of experience as an Occupational Therapist preferred. Home health experience preferred
- EMR: Home care home base proficiency preferred
- Skills: Proficiency in therapy skills as per accepted standards of practice, good interpersonal skills, current CPR certification, and knowledge of durable medical equipment.
