Qualifications

Education

  • Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution (Required).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred).
Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience (Preferred).
Licensure and Certifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • For designated stroke units, Advanced Stroke Life Support (ASLS) or Georgia Stroke Core Curriculum (GSCC) and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required within 2 years of hire.
