At ACT Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Trade Operations Specialist to join our team in our New York office.

About the Role

This position is responsible for working with the Finance and Credit teams to complete deal processes, facilitating timely product delivery to clients and vendors, and ensuring accurate information on every transaction. The successful candidate will also partner with clients and vendors to resolve account discrepancies, coordinate with the internal credit team, and monitor contract execution and accuracy.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in trade operations, accounting, or reporting, be fluent in Spanish (with Portuguese fluency being a plus), and possess excellent problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and adaptability. A Bachelor's degree in operations, business, economics, or a related field is also required.

About the Salary

We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 - $95,000 annually, which may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This is just one component of our total compensation package.

About the Job Description
  • Work with the Finance and Credit teams to complete deal processes
  • Facilitate timely product delivery to clients and from vendors
  • Ensure accurate information on every transaction
  • Partner with clients and vendors regarding their accounts
  • Coordinate with the internal credit team
  • Internal contract preparation and external contract review
  • Monitor & follow up with internal and external parties
  • Support month-end close activities
  • Own quarterly transaction reporting & reconciliations
  • Partner with auditors for annual audits & reporting
  • Contribute as a thought partner in documenting and creating new policies and procedures
About the Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of working experience in trade operations, accounting, or reporting
  • Fluent in Spanish (additionally, Portuguese fluency is a plus)
  • Dynamic, out-of-the-box problem solver
  • Highly self-motivated person who thrives in a driven work environment
  • Takes ownership for decisions and is accountable for actions
  • A mature professional with excellent judgment and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's degree in operations, business, economics, or a related field
