Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and motivated individual to become part of our team as an Early Childhood Education Assistant, contributing to the educational journey of young children.

Role: Education Assistant

Program Overview: This position is based at our North Platte Center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the lead teacher in creating a nurturing and engaging classroom environment.
  • Assist with classroom organization and management.
  • Participate in daily educational activities and provide necessary support.
  • Help implement the educational curriculum, ensuring it aligns with developmental standards.
  • Promote oral health practices among children.
  • Engage actively in all program activities and exemplify positive behavior.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in a childcare setting is advantageous.

Essential Skills:

  • Ability to foster effective working relationships with colleagues and the community.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Exhibit professional conduct at all times.

Work Schedule: This role requires 37 hours per week for 41 weeks annually, typically scheduled from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday. This position includes summer breaks.

Compensation: The starting pay rate is $15.25 per hour.
