Job Summary

Community Action Partnership of Lancaster County inc is seeking a highly skilled Food Distribution Lead to join our Health and Nutrition Impact Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient distribution of food to our pantries, while maintaining compliance with USDA and food safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order and prepare food orders for pantries, ensuring timely receipt, storage, and distribution of products.
  • Set up food pickup schedules and deliver food as needed, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure all programs comply with federal, state, and organizational food distribution procedures and policies, including conducting educational sessions and annual reviews of participating pantries.
  • Compile and submit reports and data to federal, state, and organizational stakeholders as required.
  • Determine supply and equipment needs, submit equipment applications to the PA Department of Agriculture (PDA) for approval, and maintain inventory.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Prior inventory, food service, or warehouse work is preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • The successful candidate will be required to complete the SERV Safe Manager and Tow Motor certifications within 3 months of hire.
