About the Job

Carter Lumber is seeking a skilled CDL Driver to join our team. As a valued member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for transporting orders to local customer job sites in a safe and timely manner using our well-maintained and company-owned fleet.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Transporting building materials to customer job sites in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Ensuring daily delivery schedules are met while providing excellent customer service.
  • Unloading materials using dump bed or truck-mounted forklift.

Requirements:

  • Previous delivery experience, preferably with building materials.
  • Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift.
  • An acceptable driving record and a current CDL license.
  • Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred.
  • Ability to work as a team player.
