Role Overview
As an OR Charge Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care to patients in a surgical setting. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing, planning, intervening, and evaluating the care of patients undergoing surgery.
- Assisting surgeons during operative procedures.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and managing test results.
- Administering medications as per physician directives.
- Providing leadership and guidance to the nursing team during your shift.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:
- Current Florida Registered Nurse license or appropriate compact licensure.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certification required within six months of hire.
- Minimum of one year of RN experience in an acute care environment preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, excellent service skills, and effective communication abilities.
