About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our E2E team at Walmart. As a Data Analyst III, you will play a key role in pioneering analytics across various areas of the business, including Supply Chain, Delivery, Store Acceleration & Support, Realty, and more.

You will have access to our vast global data, which will enable you to influence business decisions and create a significant impact at an unprecedented scale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a fundamental understanding of the business and its processes to provide valuable insights for key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with business engagement leaders to build and create a data & analytics roadmap that meets the needs of our business stakeholders.
  • Provide thought leadership across the E2E Data & Analytics team for agile and lean methodologies.
  • Own portfolio metrics, indicators for success, and reporting, as well as executive reviews and strategic portfolio communication to leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Enable cross-departmental collaboration with Engineers, Data Analysts, and Data Scientists team members.
  • Guide project prioritization, program/portfolio accountability, and ensure alignment with company and project goals.
  • Drive the clarity of scope needed to estimate the level of effort across the total E2E Data & Analytics roadmap.
  • Apply SQL and Visualization skills to create reports that show outputs of analyses.
  • Collaborate with business partners to gather the right information from various sources to support analyses of key initiatives.
  • Conduct exploratory analysis, including hypothesis testing and basic statistical testing.
  • Automate tasks and develop processes that monitor, analyze, and inform the actions of key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Arts, Finance, or related field, and 3 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.
  • Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, and 2 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.
  • 4 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Data science, data analysis, statistics, or related field, Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Related industry experience (for example, retail, merchandising, healthcare, eCommerce).
  • Successful completion of assessments in data analysis and Business Intelligence tools and scripting languages (for example, SQL, Python, Spark, Scala, R, Power BI, or Tableau).
