Position Overview
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and overseeing engaging programming and services tailored for elementary-aged children.

Essential Qualifications:
Education: A degree in education is preferred but not mandatory.

Skills and Knowledge:Understanding of the developmental stages of children from pre-kindergarten to 8th grade.Familiarity with effective discipline strategies suitable for this age group.Ability to source and initiate engaging activities for children.Strong organizational, planning, and management capabilities.Effective oral and written communication skills.Proficient observation skills.Professional demeanor.Capacity to be adaptable, supportive, and compassionate.Strong problem-solving abilities and sound judgment.Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with both children and adults.Experience: Prior experience working with children in the specified age range is advantageous. You will be expected to uphold the standards established by the National Afterschool Association Accreditation.

Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, and oversee the activities and services offered in the Vacation Station Program, ensuring a safe, enjoyable, and educational environment for participants.Facilitate engaging and educational activities for children during their out-of-school hours in the Vacation Station program. Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:20 AM - 9:20 AM & 3:20 PM - 6:20 PM, plus 3 hours dedicated to meetings and lesson planning.
Compensation: $17.04 per hour for those with over 60 college credit hours; $15.78 per hour for those with fewer than 60 college credit hours.
