Vice President of Quality Assurance

Aeris Communications, a leading IoT SaaS company, is seeking a seasoned and outcomes-driven Vice President of Quality to lead the Quality Assurance (QA) function. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest levels of service quality and driving continuous improvement across all business units.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide Quality Vision, Strategy, and Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive quality strategy aligned with the company's business objectives.
- Establish metrics, KPIs, and benchmarks to monitor service quality.
- Lead cross-functional teams to foster a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and customer-centricity.
- Influence and collaborate with senior leadership to integrate quality considerations into business and technical decisions.
- Deliver Customer Satisfaction and Continuous Improvement:
- Drive execution of the vision and strategy to deliver customer satisfaction based on metrics.
- Work with the support organization to measure and improve customer satisfaction through feedback loops, surveys, and data analysis, focusing on service quality.
- Implement continuous improvement methodologies to enhance service quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with product development, network operations, and customer support teams to ensure quality is integrated throughout the product lifecycle.
- Build High Performance Quality Team:
- Build and lead a high-performing quality team, providing mentorship, training, and development opportunities with a focus on E2E quality and IoT security.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages professional growth and knowledge sharing in quality assurance and network operations.
- Set performance goals for the quality team and conduct regular evaluations to ensure objectives are met, especially in network and security domains.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Extensive experience (18+ years) in quality management, with a strong background in SaaS, IoT, or network operations. SaaS feature and security testing.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing quality management systems and leading Quality Assurance, Test Automation, with a focus on E2E quality and security.
- In-depth knowledge of quality standards, regulatory requirements, and industry certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO/IEC).
- Experience with quality tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, and TQM, as well as security testing frameworks.

- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of the organization, especially in technical and operational domains.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities, with a focus on E2E quality and security.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including those involved in network operations and security.
