Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and operating W-S equipment between locations, ensuring the highest level of safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain all equipment associated with the assigned service line, with a strong focus on safety and compliance.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on company vehicles and equipment, reporting any deficiencies to management.
  • Ensure that all work is conducted in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in project planning, including on-site inspections, writing procedures, and specifying equipment and chemicals.
  • Communicate job status to division management and customer representatives, providing regular updates and ensuring seamless execution.
  • Perform field maintenance on company vehicles, equipment, and tools, as required.
  • Responsible for hookup and breakdown of equipment, using proper tools and procedures.
  • Inspect equipment, hoses, connections, pumps, and work areas before starting the job, correcting any deficiencies that may cause accidents or injuries.
  • Operate all company equipment when authorized and qualified, following company rules and work orders.
  • Clean up work areas and equipment after completion, maintaining a safe and clean workplace.
Requirements
  • Minimum of three years of experience as a driver or hydro blast/vacuum truck equipment operator.
  • Minimum of two years of industrial field experience.
  • Working knowledge of safety leadership and management skills.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and acceptable ID.
  • Possess or be able to acquire a CDL A or B endorsement, with hazmat recommended but not required.
  • Possession of a TWIC card is a plus but not a requirement.
  • Must pass a background check, drug screen, and physical.
  • Superior customer service skills.
  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Ability and willingness to travel and work any shift, including weekends.
  • Must understand verbal and written instructions.
  • Must be able to read and write.
  • Must have basic math skills.
  • Ability to lift, push or pull objects up to 50 lbs on occasion.
  • May reach above shoulder height and below the waist frequently.
  • May stoop, kneel, or bend, on occasion.
  • Move in and around confined, cluttered, and uneven areas.
  • Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures.
  • Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects frequently.
  • Work up to a 12-hour shift doing hard physical work in varying temperatures and outside conditions.
