KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct preventive, reactive, and predictive mechanical and electrical maintenance across all UDA facilities.
- Perform industrial pneumatic diagnostics and repairs on valves, banks, and fittings.
- Execute various electrical maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting and installation of 3-phase motors, contactor relays, and PLCs.
- Carry out plumbing repairs involving PVC, copper, and stainless-steel fittings.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize maintenance requests based on their impact.
- Develop effective procedures for diagnosing and troubleshooting issues to ensure quality solutions.
- Document repairs in the CMMS system and provide regular updates to the maintenance team.
- Maintain pump programs and perform mechanical work on pumps.
- Uphold food safety and quality standards, addressing compliance issues promptly.
Work Schedule: 12-hour shifts (nights or days - 6 to 6); following a 2-2-3 schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Extensive knowledge of industrial electrical, pneumatic, boiler, and refrigeration systems.
- Detail-oriented with strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Expertise in equipment systems troubleshooting and repair.
- Ability to make informed decisions based on mechanical and electrical principles.
- Proficient in lubrication principles and techniques.
- Experience in utility and HVAC/R maintenance and repairs.
- Ability to read and interpret technical prints, schematics, and diagrams.
- Capable of operating equipment such as forklifts and various lifts.
- Team-oriented with strong self-management and prioritization skills.
- Basic typing skills and familiarity with CMMS or EAM software.
Experience:
- 7-10 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
- General knowledge of the food and beverage industry is preferred.
Education/Certifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Capability to operate equipment safely while observing surroundings.
- Ability to hear and speak in environments with elevated noise levels.
- Physical capability to lift, push, pull, and carry items up to 55 lbs.
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs, including heights of 100 ft or more.
- Willingness to work in varying temperatures and conditions.
- Ability to work in confined spaces frequently.
- Capability to handle hazardous chemicals safely.
- Occasional operation of a forklift is required.
