Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

At Stericycle, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine, preventive, corrective, and scheduled maintenance on a variety of machinery within our plant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic evaluation on equipment and make repairs when needed.
  • Ensure that repairs are performed properly in the shortest amount of time possible to maintain the highest level of operational readiness.
  • Perform routine, preventive, corrective, and scheduled maintenance on machinery, including autoclave process equipment, air pollution control devices, pumps, hydraulic systems, and electrical generator systems.
  • Assist Facility/Maintenance Manager by performing general work or other assignments necessary to ensure a safe, clean, healthy, and efficient facility.
  • Document results through completed work orders or in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) based on schedule and priority or as required.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience and/or training in maintenance and repair of industrial equipment.
  • Ability to identify repairs that are needed and to assure scheduled production run is met.
  • Experience with the performance of Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) and permit confined space programs related to maintenance activities.
  • Possession of boiler, welding, or electrical certification or license is helpful.
