We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Nurse to participate in our AORN Peri Op 101 training program. This comprehensive program provides didactic and clinical training over a four to six month period to develop expertise in operating room nursing.
As an Operating Room Nurse with the University of New Mexico, you will work within the nursing process to provide direct care to patients of all age groups. In collaboration with the healthcare team, you will implement individualized care plans, administer medication, assist with tests and procedures, and promote patient safety.
Key Qualifications:
- Graduate of a nationally accredited nursing program
- Current RN license
- CPR certification
