Job Summary

Cencora is seeking a highly skilled Ambulatory Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interact with patients to obtain clinical and therapeutic information
  • Create patient profiles in the pharmacy information system
  • Enter prescription plan information and process patient prescriptions
  • Manage point of sale transactions, front-end restocking, and maintenance
  • Retrieve and prepare medication for pharmacist review and verification
  • Comply with regulatory and organizational policies and procedures
  • Submit, receive, and place inventory in stock
  • Answer inbound calls and triage as necessary
  • Assist pharmacists with price checking and restocking
  • Participate in marketing and promotional campaigns
  • Perform related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of ambulatory pharmacy experience
  • Associate's Degree program preferred
  • Pharmacy Technician certification preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately under time and volume constraints
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
