Position: Pharmacy Technician

General Healthcare Resources, Inc. is looking for a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team. We are a family owned pharmacy that provides pharmacy services to our community. We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service and professional pharmacy services.

Job Duties:
Provide excellent customer service
Sterilize and stock medications in accordance with all state and federal regulations
Prepare and fill prescriptions according to patient's orders
Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy environment by complying with the procedures of anti-bacterial cleaning products and procedures outlined by the company, as well as the policies and procedures of the local health department guidelines and standards, as applicable
Practice safe drug handling by following CDC recommendations and guidelines for the control of contamination in prescription drugs
Maintain knowledge of products, services, and other areas of the pharmacy by completing educational programs and offering continuing education programs as required by applicable regulations or established standards
Perform other duties as assigned by management to meet company goals and objectives

Skills:
Knowledge of PPI, CPO, and Medicare regulations preferred but not required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and follow instructions.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
