About the Role:
- As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for assisting pharmacists with various tasks, including medication preparation, inventory management, and patient counseling.
- You will work closely with our healthcare team to ensure accurate and efficient delivery of patient care.
- Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail pharmacy and be certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, including counting, labeling, and dispensing medications.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering and stocking medications and supplies.
- Provide patient counseling and education on medication use and side effects.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure accurate and efficient delivery of patient care.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of retail pharmacy experience.
- PTCB Certification required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
