About the Role:
The Director of Facilities Operations will provide strategic leadership and vision for the Customer Support Center (corporate) facilities team, working closely with the VP of Facilities to drive operational excellence and efficiency. This role will oversee all aspects of facility maintenance, on-site service providers, special events, construction, expansion, and general management of the Customer Support Center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational management of the on-site Customer Support Center (Corporate) Facilities Team and outside vendors, including day-to-day maintenance operations and special projects.
- Management of all outsourced facilities services, including the cafeteria, health club, copy center, vending operations, and PNC Bank, with a focus on budget planning, monitoring, and compliance.
- Full accountability for budget planning and annual Customer Support Center (corporate) campus operational capital & expense budgets, including physical assets and external vendor contracts.
- Daily management of Customer Support Center mailroom, reception areas, and site facilities teams, as well as oversight of personnel management of external vendor employees.
- Development and maintenance of space management plans for the Customer Support Center (corporate) campus, including coordination and execution of associate and department moves, and establishment of strong partnerships with senior leaders.
- Direct and work closely with department leadership, onsite vendors, and outside entities to coordinate and manage all Customer Support Center special events, including marketing events, merchandising driven displays, semi-annual town halls, sample sales, quarterly board meeting facilitation, annual company picnic, blood drives, intramural sporting leagues, etc.
- Direct operational facilitation of the Customer Support Center (corporate) Campus Energy Management System (Delta Control System) in an effort to lead sustainability programs, ensuring all electrical and mechanical systems for Data Center are sufficient to meet technical needs and are maintained to minimize service interruptions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering preferred.
- 5 - 7 years experience in facilities management of multi-site business campus.
- Prior experience in reading and understanding blueprints.
- Understanding of building infrastructure & systems including electrical, sprinkler, plumbing, emergency egress, and Data Center systems.
- Knowledge and understanding of HVAC Programming and operation, including boilers and chillers.
- Vertical Transportation knowledge.
