Role Overview and Responsibilities
Job Summary
TT Electronics is on the lookout for a Process Improvement Engineer to enhance our Operational Excellence team. This position involves the development and refinement of manufacturing processes and products through collaborative efforts with Design Engineering and Production teams.

- Offers technical assistance to the production team for immediate problem resolution.
- Identifies and justifies the need for new technologies, equipment, and tooling.
- Defines and drafts tooling and manufacturing specifications for both new and existing projects.
- Recognizes potential manufacturing risks in new initiatives and formulates risk mitigation strategies, familiar with Product Failure Effects Mode Analysis (PFEMA) and Design Failure Effects Mode Analysis (DFEMA).
- Applies Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to ensure timely address of manufacturing efficiency requirements.
- Leads continuous improvement initiatives across various programs and projects.
- Creates and revises work instructions and operational procedures as necessary.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Three to five years of relevant experience in manufacturing operations is preferred.
- Experience in the Aerospace and Defense sector is advantageous.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D CAD software is required.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is essential.
- Strong analytical skills, particularly in root cause analysis, are necessary.
- Familiarity with geometric dimensioning and statistical tolerance methods is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with a diverse audience.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
- Knowledge of AS9100 quality standards is strongly preferred.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles is beneficial.
- Meets vision requirements as specified by quality management standards.
- This position requires compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons as defined by ITAR.
