Key Responsibilities

  • Effectively merchandise food and beverages, promoting our menu offerings.
  • Verify age requirements for alcohol purchases and maintain a safe and responsible service environment.
  • Pre-bus tables, bar tops, and countertops, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
  • Clean up spills, breakage, and trash, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Reset tables, bar tops, and countertops according to company standards.
  • Clean and polish counters, shelves, walls, furniture, and equipment.
  • Record orders, place accurate orders, and monitor the timing of the guest experience.
  • Ensure quality food and beverages for guests.
  • Upsell and suggestive sell at every opportunity.
  • Prepare high-quality drinks consistently, mixing ingredients and garnishing with precision.
  • Work the service bar efficiently, ensuring all drink orders are rung in.
  • Limit problems and liability related to excessive drinking, taking steps to ensure guest safety.
  • Clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment.
  • Arrange bottles and glasses for attractive displays.
  • Present accurate bills, collect payments, and follow cash handling procedures.

Requirements

  • High School Degree or equivalent preferred.
  • At least two years of experience as a Bartender in a full-service high-volume restaurant.
  • Six months of successful experience as a Server at Buca di Beppo for internal promotion.
