Merchandiser Specialist Job Summary

As a Merchandiser Specialist at Acosta Group, you will play a crucial role in representing our clients' products in retail stores. Your primary responsibility will be to execute various retail merchandising activities, including product placement, display setup, and maintenance. You will work independently in stores, building relationships with store associates and managers, and leveraging the support of our merchandising team nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Locate merchandise in the backroom and stock it on the floor to ensure customers can find what they need.
  • Front face products to make sure product shelves look their best.
  • Receive and install marketing and promotional materials at your home and bring them to the store.
  • Display set up and maintenance for a variety of products throughout the store.
  • Reset displays or product areas based on client needs, including full remodels and product placement.
  • Answer simple, step-by-step questions within our field technology on your mobile device as you complete your work.
  • Take photos of completed work to demonstrate success.
  • Represent our clients and our company in retail stores within your assigned area.

Requirements:

  • Enjoy working independently in stores while building relationships with store associates and managers.
  • Owning your stores and becoming the go-to resource due to built relationships.
  • Effectively communicating with store associates, store managers, and our merchandising team nationwide.
  • Leveraging support and sharing best practices with our merchandising team.
  • Contacting our Operations Support Center for help with challenges in store.
  • Completing work within the provided timeframe.
  • Closely following detailed instructions to ensure accuracy.
  • Reporting your work the same day you complete it.

What You Need:

  • Access to reliable transportation to get you from multiple retail locations in your area.
  • A smartphone with access to data and internet to report and upload photos.
