We are seeking a skilled individual to take on the role of Precision Machining Specialist. In this position, you will be responsible for the setup and operation of manual milling machines, lathes, and drill presses. Your expertise in interpreting blueprints will be essential for planning setups and determining the necessary tools for part fabrication.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate manual mills and lathes with precision.
- Conduct drilling, tapping, and deburring processes effectively.
- Utilize a variety of precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, and gauges, to ensure quality standards are met.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints accurately.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience operating manual milling and lathe machines.
- Extensive background in drilling and related machining processes.
- Proficient in the use of measurement tools for quality control.
- Strong ability to read and understand technical drawings.
Employment Type
This is a permanent role.
Work Environment
The position is fully on-site, requiring hands-on engagement in a clean manufacturing setting. Standard working hours are Monday through Thursday from 7 AM to 4:30 PM, and Friday from 7 AM to 11 AM, with opportunities for overtime on specific projects.
