Key Responsibilities- Provide Direct Patient Care: Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician, you will provide nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and standards of care.
- Assist Medical Staff: You will assist medical staff with examinations and treatments, including selecting and passing instruments, providing support and restraint to patients, and draping.
- Document Patient Care: You will accurately document patient care in Health Connect, adhering to policy, procedures, guidelines, and protocols.
- Communicate Effectively: You will communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members, demonstrating excellent customer relations and quality service skills.
- Participate in Quality Improvement: You will participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of a nursing care plan and implementing changes as needed.
- Perform Administrative Tasks: You will perform administrative tasks, including ordering and distributing supplies, and assisting with staff meetings and in-service programs.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- License/Certification: Vocational Nurse License (California) and Basic Life Support
- Experience: Minimum 12 months of LVN direct patient care experience within the last 3 years
- IV Certification: IV Certification and Blood Withdrawal Certification preferred
