Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our production support team at Flambeau. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dimensional Measurements: Accurately perform and document dimensional measurements of parts using applicable equipment, including First Article Inspections on new products or product revisions.
  • Visual/Appearance Defects: Analyze parts for evaluation of visual/appearance defects, including assistance with creation and maintenance of visual inspection standards for new and existing products.
  • Documentation: Properly document analysis and findings on shop floor control charts, ensuring all documentation is clear and complete.
  • MRB Process: Daily monitoring and maintenance of the Material Review Board (MRB) process, including QA Hold area and related documentation.
  • Quality Management: Daily monitoring, maintenance, and control of quality management system documentation.
  • Training and Development: Plan, assemble materials, schedule, and assist with Quality specific training as designated by the Quality Manager.
  • Quality Auditing: Act as QA Backup for in-process quality auditing, as necessary.
Requirements
  • Quality Assurance Auditor Duties: Must be able to perform all Quality Assurance Auditor duties.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication - oral and written, and must be fluent in English.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read, write, add, subtract, multiply and divide, and ability to read basic part drawings, and/or blue prints.
  • Physical Demands: Sitting, standing or walking for periods of up to four hours at a time, reaching, feeling, handling or grasping and detecting part inconsistencies and variances by sight and touch.
Working Conditions

The Quality Assurance Specialist will work in a fast-paced production environment, with frequent interactions with production team members and other departments. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
