Vaco is seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our team. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, assisting in month-end and year-end closing, and performing various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the month-end and year-end closing process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Perform accounts payable and receivable tasks, including invoicing and reconciliations.
  • Prepare and file tax returns, including individual and corporate tax returns.
  • Organize and update financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform month-end bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare documentation for external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform general ledger entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in forecasting and budgeting to ensure accurate financial planning.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • 2-3 years of accounting experience.
  • Experience with financial statements and general ledger processes.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Word and Excel.
