Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Rigging Specialist to join our team at Bishop Lifting Products, Inc. As a key member of our rigging department, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing lifting equipment, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabrication and Repair: Fabricate and repair wire rope slings and assemblies, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and safety.
  • Safe Working Environment: Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Proof Testing: Assist in proof testing of products when required, ensuring they meet our quality and safety standards.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that equipment and tools used in the rigging department are properly maintained, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Other Functions: Perform other functions as required to support the rigging department.
Requirements
  • Reading and Measuring: Must be able to read measuring devices such as tape measure, calipers, etc.
  • Rigging Experience: Prior rigging/sling assembly experience preferred.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Must be able to lift and carry heavy material to and from certain parts of the rigging department.
  • Forklift Experience: Forklift experience preferred but not required.
  • Computer Skills: General computer experience is a plus.
  • Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Background Check: Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test/physical and background check.
